Murderer from Karaoke Room Receives Additional Prison Sentence for Sexual Assault and Stalking
A man in his 30s, who murdered a woman in her 50s at a karaoke room and disposed of her body in a mountainous area, received an additional prison sentence for separate sexual assault and stalking crimes.
According to the legal community on the 12th, the Incheon District Court Criminal Division 13 (Judge Kim Gi-poong) recently sentenced Mr. A (33) to three years in prison for violations related to quasi-rape and stalking.

Mr. A faced charges for sexually assaulting an acquaintance who was asleep from alcohol intoxication last January and for stalking his ex-girlfriend by sending her 244 messages and breaking into her residence at the end of January.
It was revealed that Mr. A continued his stalking activities even after receiving a court-issued emergency protective order prohibiting him from approaching the victim.
The court stated, "The defendant committed additional crimes while under trial for stalking and failed to reach an agreement with the victim," explaining the reason for sentencing.
Separate Trial Ongoing for Murder and Body Disposal Charges
In addition to the sexual assault and stalking case, Mr. A has been charged with murder and body disposal, and was sentenced to 30 years in prison during the first trial on June 25. He is currently undergoing an appeal.

Mr. A is accused of strangling Ms. B, a woman in her 50s, at a karaoke room in Bucheon, Gyeonggi Province, around 7 a.m. on February 13.
A former karaoke employee, Mr. A transported Ms. B's body in his vehicle after the crime and spent approximately 1.2 million won using her credit card for petrol, cigarettes, and other expenses over the following two days while traveling around Bucheon and Incheon. He also stole two of her rings and one bracelet.
Even more shocking is the fact that Mr. A disposed of Ms. B's body in a pile of garbage on a mountain in Seo-gu, Incheon, around 6:30 p.m. on February 14, the day after the incident.
Additionally, Mr. A was sentenced to six months in prison for repeatedly depositing 1 won into his ex-wife's account from April to September last year while leaving messages like "I don't want to fight" and "Let's talk" in the transaction history.
In this case as well, Mr. A was found to have called or sent numerous text messages despite receiving a court-issued emergency protective order prohibiting him from approaching the victim.
