Singer and actress IU has proven her strong ticket power.
IU will hold the '2025 IU Fan Meetup – Bye, Summer' on the 13th and 14th of next month at the K-SPO Dome (formerly the Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
The pre-sale for the concert took place for fan club members on the 11th at 8 PM. As soon as ticket sales began, a surge of users flooded onto Melon Ticket, resulting in a complete sell-out of all seats.
'Bye, Summer' marks IU's return to offline fan events after about two years. She held a fan concert to celebrate her 15th anniversary since debut at the K-SPO Dome in September 2023.
Tickets for that fan concert also sold out quickly during the pre-sale. This fan meetup also recorded a sell-out on the first day of pre-sale, demonstrating IU's enduring popularity.
The event will present a different concept from previous fan meetings. The agency explained, "We will emphasize interaction with fans. It will be a warm and humble space for communication."
Meanwhile, general ticket sales for the IU fan meetup will begin on the 13th at 8 PM on Melon Ticket. More details can be found on social media.
