Jeon Han-gil officially requested the disciplinary action against Kim Geun-sik, a candidate for the Supreme Council of the People Power Party, stating, "It is not right that only the victim, me, is being sanctioned."

On the afternoon of the 11th, Mr. Jeon visited the People Power Party's central headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, to submit a request for disciplinary action against the candidate Kim.

Mr. Jeon emphasized at the party headquarters, "Am I not the victim? Who is the one targeting and attacking me? It is none other than candidate Kim Geun-sik."

He stated, "It is not right that there is no sanction against candidate Kim, while only the victim, Jeon Han-gil, is being swiftly sanctioned," and added, "I came to request that candidate Kim resign and that prompt disciplinary action be taken."

Regarding the background of this incident, Mr. Jeon claimed, "Candidate Kim, who is part of the pro-Kim faction (pro-Han Dong-hoon faction), suddenly criticized me during the party convention on behalf of Han Dong-hoon; this is an intention to create an incident to eliminate Jeon Han-gil."

He also mentioned, "If there is an audit of party affairs regarding the incident on the party member bulletin board by Han Dong-hoon first, I will willingly accept any sanctions against me after that."

Mr. Jeon, who has been banned from attending the People Power Party's convention, showed no intention of backing down from participating in future speeches.

He stated, "Although I cannot enter since the party told me not to come, I will continue to conduct YouTube broadcasts for viewers near the venue," clearly expressing his intention to attend the combined speech event in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, scheduled for today (the 12th).

Meanwhile, on the 8th, Mr. Jeon caused a commotion at the Daegu and Gyeongbuk combined speech event by inciting some candidates to chant slogans calling them "traitors."

In response, the People Power Party convened an ethics committee to discuss disciplinary action against Mr. Jeon for obstructing the party convention.
