They captivated global listeners. According to the latest Spotify statistics (as of the 19th), 'Chk Chk Boom' debuted at No. 25 on the 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart on its release day.
They also achieved their highest daily streaming record to date. 'Chk Chk Boom' was streamed 3,103,367 times in just one day, proving Stray Kids' music power.
Other tracks from the album also gained popularity. 'MOUNTAINS,' 'JJAM,' 'I Like It,' and 'Runners' each surpassed 1 million streams.
Domestic chart performance was also remarkable. 'Chk Chk Boom' immediately climbed to the top spot on Bugs and Vibe's real-time charts upon release. It held the No. 1 position on Bugs' daily chart for two consecutive days.
Their album sales were impressive as well. Stray Kids achieved million-seller status on the first day for four consecutive works. 'ATE' sold 1.65 million copies on the release day, according to Hanteo Chart.
The title track's music video showcased their presence with Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman making surprise appearances, transforming into Deadpool and Wolverine.
The video charted on YouTube’s trending videos in 33 regions right after its release. 'Chk Chk Boom' also became a trending music video in 71 regions on YouTube.
'Chk Chk Boom' is a song that adds an addictive loop and a unique top line to a Latin-style hip-hop rhythm. The lyrics convey the group's confidence in aiming for their goals.
