The parents of the victim claim, "The video is only being shared among the close friends of the assailant students."

Expectations for Rapid Progress in Investigation if Assault Video Exists

If the existence of the assault video is confirmed, it is expected that the investigation will proceed more quickly. Notably, the parents of the assailants have denied the assault until now, so the video could serve as crucial evidence.

The Chungju police are currently investigating three middle school students on charges of collectively assaulting a 6th-grade elementary student, referred to as A.

The incident occurred on the 20th of last month, where a first-year middle school student, B, who was familiar with A, reportedly invited A over in the early morning hours, gave her alcohol, and then assaulted her.

The assault took place at B's home, and it has been investigated that two second-year middle school students who knew B were also present at the time. A testified that someone was filming her from the stairs of a bunk bed during the assault.

Police have already completed lie detector tests on the three assailants.

A's parents stated, "The video is being shared with claims that our child was beaten over a thousand times that night," and emphasized, "The police must uncover the existence of the video through a mobile device forensics investigation."
