A Deep Dive While Trying to Retrieve a Soccer Ball… Siblings Sequentially Fall In

A stunning incident occurred at a beach in Jeju, where all four siblings fell into the water while trying to rescue the youngest. Fortunately, instructors from a nearby recreational company and private coast guard members swiftly responded and successfully rescued the children.

According to the Jeju Coast Guard and fire authorities on the 10th, the accident happened around 4:50 PM on the 9th at Sinheung Beach in Jeju City, while the four siblings were playing in the water.

While trying to retrieve a ball bobbing on the surface, the youngest child, A, entered deeper water where he could no longer touch the bottom and fell in. Upon seeing this, his older brother and sister immediately jumped into the water to rescue him. However, the strong currents quickly put all the siblings in danger.

At this moment, two instructors, B and C, who were active nearby, witnessed the accident. Both were also working as marine disaster rescuers for the Jeju Coast Guard.

B used a jet ski to rescue two of the siblings, while C jumped directly into the sea to save one. The remaining sibling managed to swim back to the beach by himself.
