“‘Good Partner,’ 3-week hiatus due to the impact of the 2024 Paris Olympics broadcast”

SBS-TV's Friday-Saturday drama 'Good Partner' will be preempted due to the broadcast of the '2024 Paris Olympics.'

The 'Good Partner' team announced that the show would not air from Saturday, the 27th, to August 10th due to live coverage of the Paris Olympics, taking about a three-week break.

But that's not all. Various programs from other broadcasting companies will also be preempted due to the '2024 Paris Olympics' coverage. KBS-2TV's 'Gag Concert' has also confirmed a three-week break.

SBS-TV and MBC-TV will begin broadcasting Olympic games starting from the 27th. Shows such as 'Hangout with Yoo,' 'The Manager,' 'My Ugly Duckling,' 'Running Man,' and 'Inkigayo' will be preempted.

Meanwhile, the '2024 Paris Summer Olympics' will kick off on the 27th and will end on August 11th. Participants include over 15,000 athletes from 206 countries, competing in 329 events across 32 sports.

South Korea will send a maximum of 142 athletes to compete in 21 events, aiming for gold in sports like archery, fencing, badminton, and taekwondo. The South Korean delegation held its inaugural ceremony on the 9th.
