tvN and TVing drama's official YouTube accounts have been hacked.
On the 20th, CJ ENM and TVing stated, "We are aware of the channel hacking situation. We are taking measures to resolve the issue with YouTube. We will do our best for a quick recovery."
The official channel logo has been changed to 'ripple'. The ID has also been changed. All previous uploads have been deleted, and only 'ripple' related content is being displayed.
tvN drama has also requested users to prevent further damage. "Please be cautious not to click on suspicious videos or links," it emphasized.
The tvN drama YouTube channel has 7.11 million subscribers, and TVing has about 986,000 subscribers. Users began reporting inconveniences from the hacking around 7 am today.
Meanwhile, the 'ripple' that has replaced tvN is one of the blockchain-based overseas remittance projects.
