Disney+ ‘Moving’ won the grand prize at the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards.
The 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards (hereinafter referred to as ‘Blue Dragon Series’) was held on the 19th at the Paradise City Chroma in Incheon.
Jun Hyun-moo and Yoona hosted the event for the third consecutive time.
The grand prize went to ‘Moving’. Ryu Seung-ryong (playing the role of Joo-won) expressed his thoughts with a line from ‘Moving.’
“The opposite of Incheon’s sea is Incheon’s mom” and encouraged all the parents in this era.
Han Hyo-joo (playing the role of Mi-hyun) said,
“I was very happy to play Bong-seok’s mom. I received a lot of love for such a warm and righteous story, and I want to thank the viewers who completed it with their love.” The ‘Moving’ team also won the Best New Actor and Actress awards. Lee Jung-ha (playing the role of Bong-seok) said he wanted to perform a scene from the work, reciting the line, “Hee-soo, catch me.”
Go Youn-jung (playing the role of Hee-soo) expressed her determination by saying, “I really enjoyed filming and will consider this an award to work harder.”
Im Si-wan lifted the Best Actor trophy for his role as Jang Byung-tae in Coupang Play’s ‘The Boy’s Era.’
He began by saying, “In terms of social roles, I met the work ‘The Boy’s Era’ when I was wandering.”
Im Si-wan said, “Thanks to ‘The Boy’s Era,’ I found a clear answer. It helped me establish my values.”
He also applauded the actors attending the Blue Dragon Series.
Park Bo-young was named the Best Actress for her role as Jung Da-eun in Netflix’s ‘A Morning Comes to the Psychiatric Ward Too.’
When her name was called, she covered her mouth in shock and shed tears.
Park Bo-young said, “It was very tough for me to play this role. I managed to endure because my fellow nurse actors hugged me every time we filmed. I want to say thank you,” she greeted.
She added, “If there is anyone enduring a dark and long night, I hope you will not get worn out and hold on until you greet the morning,” evoking deep emotion.
The Best Variety Show Award went to Wavve’s ‘Verification Zone: The Community.’ The Best Male Entertainer went to Shin Dong-yup of Coupang Play’s ‘SNL Korea 5,’ and the Best Female Entertainer went to Jang Do-yeon of TVING’s ‘High School Mystery Club 3.’
