Na Kyung-won, Member of the National Assembly, Evaluates Jeong Cheong-rae's Election as Democratic Party Leader: "Victory of Kim Oh-joon in the Battle Against Lee Jae-myung"
Na Kyung-won, a member of the People Power Party, has provided her own analysis regarding the election of Jeong Cheong-rae as the new leader of the Democratic Party.
On the 4th, Na shared on her Facebook that she interprets Jeong Cheong-rae’s election over Park Chan-dae as "the victory of Kim Oh-joon in the battle against President Lee Jae-myung."

Na stated, "President Lee Jae-myung also mentioned the need for a consensus among the party, government, and the people during his call with the new leader," suggesting that while a facade of unity is expressed, a "subtle fracture of power for the future" will soon reveal itself.

She expressed her concerns that such a fracture could "potentially harm the people or drive the public into despair through a competition for clarity."
In particular, Na pointed out that the first action of the new leader was a phone call with former Minister of Gender Equality and Family Kang Sun-woo, whose nomination was withdrawn in a self-resignation form, interpreting this as a significant signal.
Two Declarations by Leader Jeong Cheong-rae and Na Kyung-won's Counterarguments
Na Kyung-won analyzed that Leader Jeong had declared two key points.
First is the 'end of internal unrest' and the call for 'dissolution of the People Power Party,' viewing the relationship with the People Power Party not as an engagement but solely as a target for dissolution.

Second is described as a "seizure under the pretext of media, judicial, and prosecution reforms."
In response, Na questioned, "Who has effectively started internal unrest and disruption of the constitution?" and defined internal unrest as "causing riots with the intent to exclude state power or disrupt the constitution."
She criticized the Democratic Party by questioning who are the forces "that have tied up national affairs with indiscriminate impeachment, special investigations, ruthless passage of bills, and unconditional budget cuts since the immediate aftermath of the 2022 presidential election, preventing the presidential system from functioning and disrupting the constitution."
Finally, Na stated, "Leader Jeong is at the center and the main culprit of the constitutional disruption caused by the obstruction of national governance," urging firmly that instead of talking about a "People Power Party apology," he should first apologize for the past disruptions of the constitution.
