Kim Geon-hee, ahead of special prosecutor's attendance, states "I will explain all suspicions without exercising the right to remain silent"
Ahead of her attendance before the special prosecutor tomorrow (6th), Kim Geon-hee has expressed her intention to explain all suspicions directly without exercising her right to remain silent.
On the 4th, the Korea Kukmin Daily reported, "Kim will not refuse the public summons from the special prosecutor" and "will not sneak in to avoid the photo line."
According to the report, Kim plans to attend the special prosecutor's office located in the KT Gwanghwamun West Building in Jongno, Seoul, to directly clarify her position regarding various suspicions surrounding her.

Additionally, it has been reported that Kim will pass directly through the photo line set up in front of the office without using a separate exit.
Kim Geon-hee is facing 16 allegations under the special prosecutor’s law, including stock price manipulation related to Deutsche Motors and Sambu Construction, solicitation of Geun-jin, and influence on Myung-tae Kyun’s nomination. The special prosecutor's team has been conducting searches and investigating major suspects and witnesses to uncover these suspicions.
In particular, there are several issues, such as stock price manipulation of our technology and preferential treatment for relocating the presidential office, that have not undergone thorough investigations, raising the possibility of additional summons for Kim in the future.

A representative from Kim’s side stated, "If the special prosecutor asks specific questions, she will provide detailed testimony as she recalls" and added, "She does not have in mind to exercise the right to remain silent." Three lawyers, Yoo Jeong-hwa, Chae Myung-seong, and Choi Ji-woo, are expected to be present during the special prosecutor’s investigation of Kim.
Earlier, on the 24th of last month, Kim's representatives submitted a request to the special prosecutor's team, asking that she be summoned on different days for each allegation, with a guarantee of a 3-4 day break between investigations, and that the investigations be concluded before 6 PM, which led to controversy over "privileged questioning."
In response, the special prosecutor's team stated that they plan to conduct the summons investigation in accordance with the law and principles.
