Gasoline Spraying Incident in Front of University Hospital Due to Medical Complaints
An elderly man in his 80s was apprehended by the police for spraying gasoline on the walkway in front of a university hospital in Seoul to express his dissatisfaction with medical services.
The Hyehwa Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked the man, referred to as Mr. A, on charges of public intimidation.

According to police reports from the 30th of last month, Mr. A is suspected of spraying gasoline on the walkway in front of the university hospital located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, around 9:50 AM.
At the time, Mr. A reportedly demanded, "Please call the police" while spraying gasoline. Investigations revealed that he had stated he did this to express his complaints about the hospital’s medical treatment.
Tools of the Act and Police Response
Immediately after the incident, the police, upon receiving a call, dispatched to the scene and arrested Mr. A in the act, seizing a container of gasoline with a capacity of 2 liters as evidence.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the gasoline Mr. A used was purchased three days prior at a gas station, indicating that the act was premeditated.
Premeditation Evidence

Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A; however, it was confirmed that the court rejected the application.
