Introduction of Korean Audio Guide Service at St. Peter's Basilica with Actor Cha Seung-won's Voice
A new service has started for Korean tourists at St. Peter's Basilica, an iconic building of the Vatican and a global tourist destination.
According to a statement by the Catholic Archdiocese of Seoul released on the 31st of last month, a special ceremony was held to announce the installation of a new Korean audio guide at St. Peter's Basilica in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Holy See.
New Korean Audio Guide

The newly introduced Korean audio guide was jointly produced by the Catholic Archdiocese of Seoul and the Apostolic Nunciature of the Holy See, and it holds special meaning as the renowned Korean actor Cha Seung-won lent his voice to the project.
This audio guide, featuring Cha Seung-won's voice, is expected to provide Korean tourists visiting St. Peter's Basilica with a richer cultural experience.
Official Launch of New Korean Guidance Service at St. Peter's Basilica
This new audio guide was planned in conjunction with the renovation of exhibitions and guidance content within St. Peter's Basilica and is set to be officially provided starting from the 1st.
With the introduction of the Korean service, Korean pilgrims and tourists visiting the Vatican will be able to appreciate St. Peter's Basilica based on a deeper cultural and religious understanding.

The delivery ceremony, held on the 29th of last month (local time), was attended by key figures including Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, the Apostolic Administrator of Vatican City, and Bishops Lee Kyung-sang and Choi Kwang-hee from the Archdiocese of Seoul, Monsignor Jeong Yeon-jeong, the rector of the Catholic University of Korea in Rome, and Deputy Ambassador Lee Jeong-woo from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to the Holy See.
