Daejeon residential area knife murder case, man in his 20s being pursued

A shocking incident occurred in a residential area of Goejeong-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, where a woman in her 30s was stabbed to death.

The police have identified a man in his 20s, who was in a romantic relationship with the victim, as a primary suspect and are currently pursuing him.

According to police reports released on the 29th, at around 12:08 PM that day, a man in his 20s, referred to as A, attacked a woman in her 30s, referred to as B, with a knife in front of an apartment building in Goejeong-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, and then fled the scene.

The incident was reported by a postal worker who witnessed it, and the 119 emergency team, alerted by the report, rushed B, who was in cardiac arrest, to a nearby hospital, but ultimately could not save her life.

The knife used in the crime was discovered at the scene.

Pursuing suspect through CCTV analysis

A police official explained the situation, stating, "We received a report that a man stabbed a woman with a knife during an argument and fled, so we requested cooperation from the 119 team and responded to the scene."

Currently, the police are meticulously analyzing closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage and conducting interviews in the vicinity to trace A's escape route.
