TOMORROW X TOGETHER has proven their popularity in North America.
On the 17th (Korean time), American data research company Luminate released the "2024 Midyear Music Report" on its website. The tallying period was from December 29 of last year to the 27th of last month. Rankings were determined based on U.S. physical album sales, digital downloads, and audio streaming.
According to the study, TOMORROW X TOGETHER ranked 2nd in "Top CD Album Sales in the U.S." Their 6th mini album "minisode 3: Temptation" sold over 190,000 copies. They followed closely behind Taylor Swift. Among K-pop artists, this is the highest ranking. Last year, they ranked 1st in the same category (with their 5th mini album).
They also made it on the "Top Album Sales – Total" list in the U.S., placing 6th. The high figures come from combining physical album sales with digital album sales.
"minisode 3: Temptation" is an album that wraps up their previous "The Name Chapter" series. It contains a story about remembering past promises and searching for "you" together.
The album debuted at No. 3 on Billboard's main album chart, the "Billboard 200" (as of April 20). It stayed on the chart for seven weeks, marking the longest-charting K-pop album record this year.
Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER will continue their first Japan’s 4-dome tour, "ACT: SWEET MIRAGE in Japan," on the 27th and 28th at the Kyocera Dome Osaka.
