Special Robbery Case Involving a Bank Employee Misusing Customer Information
A bank employee in his 30s has been arrested by the police for committing a robbery worth tens of millions of won at an apartment in Pocheon.
On the 28th, the Pocheon police announced that they have arrested a man, referred to as A, in his 30s, on charges of special robbery and are currently investigating him.

A is accused of illegally entering a home on the third floor of an apartment in Pocheon around 4 a.m. that day and stealing valuables including cash and precious metals worth tens of millions of won.
During the course of the crime, A damaged a screen and broke into the residence, overpowering the 80-year-old resident, referred to as B, who tried to resist. It is confirmed that A was armed at the time of the crime.
Planned Crime Utilizing Bank Customer Information
The shocking aspect of this incident is that A is a bank employee. According to the investigation, A reportedly remembered that B had withdrawn cash from the bank earlier in the month and planned the crime based on this information.

The police believe A likely anticipated that there was cash stored in B's home and committed the robbery in a premeditated manner.
During the course of the crime, it was reported that B sustained injuries to his arm. A police official stated, "A was apprehended at his workplace in Pocheon," adding, "The exact motive for the crime is currently under investigation."
