It is the 36th donation. Actress Song Hye-kyo has once again joined hands with Professor Seo Kyung-duk of Sungshin Women's University.
On the 17th, Professor Seo announced on his SNS, "In collaboration with Song Hye-kyo, we donated a guidebook that highlights the historical sites of Korean independence movements in Paris, France."
Professor Seo and Song Hye-kyo donated 10,000 copies of the guidebook to the Korean Education Center in France and the Korean Pavilion at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris. The guidebook is produced in both Korean and French.
The guidebook contains detailed information about prominent independence activists in Paris, the Korean Communications Office, the Korean Provisional Government's Paris Committee site, and the founding site of the Paris Korean Friendship Association.
Professor Seo stated, "With the upcoming Paris Olympics, many Koreans and foreigners are expected to visit Paris. We wanted to widely introduce the historical sites of the Korean independence movement to them."
For the past 13 years, Professor Seo and Song Hye-kyo have been promoting the historical sites of the independence movement. They have donated Korean guidebooks, Korean signs, relief works of independence activists, and more to a total of 36 locations to date.
Finally, they added, "The continuous interest and visits of our people will be the greatest force in promoting and preserving the neglected historical sites of the independence movement overseas."
