Park Ji-won, Lawmaker, Predicts Results of the People Power Party's National Convention and Analyzes Democratic Party Leadership Election
Lawmaker Park Ji-won of the Democratic Party predicted that candidate Kim Moon-soo would be elected as the chairman of the People Power Party at its national convention.
On the 24th, during his appearance on KBC's "Yeouido Invitation," Park stated, "The Yoon Suk-yeol faction, including Under Jin-yun, Jeon Han-gil, Jeong Kwang-hoon, and Jin-yun, are all supporting Kim Moon-soo."
Furthermore, Park expressed strong concerns, saying, "If Kim Moon-soo becomes the chairman riding on Under Jin-yun, Jeon Han-gil, Jeong Kwang-hoon, and the far-right, the People Power Party will truly disappear into history, driven by the people."
In addition, he mentioned, "Isn't it true that Han Dong-hoon is not running because the internal forces of Jeon Han-gil, Jeong Kwang-hoon, and Yoon Seok-yeol are so strong?"

Regarding the Democratic Party's leadership election, Park assessed, "The Democratic Party's active members have been politically trained and are mature since the time of Chairman Kim Dae-jung."
He added, "Currently, we must carry out judicial reform. It is true that many believe that the person who can help the president achieve this reform is Jeong Cheong-rae."
Park emphasized, "Regardless of the outcome, our party members and Democratic Party members are focused on the question of who should be the representative to further support the success of President Lee Jae-myung, with a focus on reforms such as judicial reform," while also noting, "I must reiterate that we will only know for sure once we open the lid."
