Actor Yoon Kyung-sang has transformed into a temporary news anchor. Yoon appeared on the sports segment of SBS-TV’s '8 News' on the 25th, delivering game updates alongside anchor Kim Hyun-jin.
He emphasized the spirit of sports, stating, "If you never give up and continue to challenge yourself in any sport, you will eventually bloom the flower of a miracle."
Yoon introduced the 200m athletic event at the Universiade held that day, maintaining a calm and stable presentation despite being his first time anchoring the news.
Currently, Yoon Kyung-sang is starring in SBS-TV's new Friday and Saturday drama 'Try: We Become Miracles' (written by Lim Jin-ah, directed by Jang Young-seok, hereafter 'Try'). 'Try' is a comedic coming-of-age sports drama that tells the story of the quirky coach Joo Ka-ram (played by Yoon Kyung-sang) and the perennial underdog Hanyang High School rugby team racing towards victory in the national championships.
The lead actors are actively promoting the drama; previously, Kim Yo-han served as a ceremonial first pitcher at the LG Twins vs. Lotte Giants game held at the Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul.
Meanwhile, 'Try' will air its second episode on the 26th at 9:50 PM.
