TWICE has proven its global popularity by ranking high on Billboard's main charts. According to a reported article about the U.S. Billboard chart, TWICE achieved 6th place on the Billboard 200 with their 4th studio album, 'THIS IS FOR.'
An album featuring contributions from the members also made it onto the charts. The OST for the Netflix movie 'K-Pop Demon Hunters' (directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans) ranked 5th on the same chart.
With this achievement, TWICE has set a new record for 'K-Pop girl groups entering the Billboard 200 Top 10.' Starting from their 10th mini album in 2021, they have had seven consecutive works in the top 10.
The new album offers a glimpse into their expanded musical world, featuring collaborations with songwriters who have worked with pop star Ariana Grande. They also experimented with various genres and unit combinations.
Meanwhile, TWICE is currently on their 6th world tour, scheduled to perform in Osaka from the 26th to 27th and in Aichi next month on the 23rd to 24th.
