Fortunately, this delivery worker has been confirmed safe.

Current status: Safe
This incident was brought to light recently through an online community.
According to the posted content, A had been suffering from excessive workloads at the Osan Post Office and disappeared after leaving a message implying an extreme choice.
In the note, A reportedly expressed, "I no longer have the confidence to handle work in the future," and added, "I cannot cause harm to others, so I will finish my work and leave."
Deteriorating delivery conditions and the struggles of delivery workers

The background of this incident appears to involve sustained heavy rain recently.
According to data from the Korea Meteorological Administration's Automated Weather System (AWS), Osan-si, Gyeonggi-do, recorded 66mm of rain on the 16th and another 65mm on the 17th.
On the weekend of the 19th, rainfall reached 50.5mm.
In such inclement weather, delivery workers had to perform their duties in even harsher conditions than usual.
Delivering mail and packages while it is raining requires more time and effort than normal, and the risk of safety accidents increases.

Voices are rising calling for discussions on improving the working conditions and treatment of delivery workers. In particular, there are calls for institutional measures to protect the safety and health of delivery workers during natural disasters or severe weather conditions.
