Yunho of TVXQ donates 50 million won… “I hope it helps neighbors affected by the heavy rain”

Yunho of 'TVXQ' has helped those affected by the recent heavy rainfall. The Community Chest of Korea announced on the 21st, "Yunho stepped up to assist disaster victims from the heavy rain on the 19th, donating 50 million won to the Community Chest of Korea."

The funds will be used for disaster relief efforts, temporary housing, living expenses, and recovery for the victims affected by the recent record rainfall.

Yunho stated, "I decided to get involved with the hope that I can provide even a little help to neighbors who are having a hard time due to the unexpected rain damage." He added, "I sincerely hope you do not lose courage in this difficult situation and take care of your health. I truly wish for you to return to your daily life as soon as possible."

He has been consistently making donations and has supported disaster and emergency situations over time. He donated 50 million won for the recovery efforts following the Gangneung forest fire in 2023. He has also contributed to the East Coast forest fire in 2022, special fundraising for COVID-19 in 2020, and to the Gangwon forest fire in 2019. In 2022, he also joined the Honor Society of the Community Chest of Korea.

Yunho is taking the lead in promoting the culture of giving. The Honor Society is a group of high-value individual donors who have donated over 100 million won or committed to donating that amount within five years to the Community Chest of Korea.

Meanwhile, Yunho is currently appearing as 'Beolgu', a gangster from Mokpo, in the recently released Disney Plus series 'FINE: The Country Bumpkins'. He showcased a strong performance with his deep dialect and commanding presence.
