Incheon Apartment Shooting Incident: 10 Homemade Guns Found in Suspect's Vehicle
On the night of the 20th, 10 homemade guns were discovered in the vehicle of a suspect arrested for allegedly shooting and killing his son in an apartment in Incheon.

On the 21st, the Seoul Bangbae Police Station announced that they urgently apprehended the suspect, identified as A, who was fleeing in a vehicle in the Bangbae-dong area of Seocho-gu early that morning.
According to police officials, it was confirmed that during the arrest process, 10 homemade guns and 3 live rounds were found in the passenger seat of the vehicle A was driving.
Additionally, in A's residence located in Ssangmun-dong, Dobong-gu, 15 explosive devices were discovered.
These explosives were reportedly connected to ignition devices and timers, with some set to explode at 12 PM on the 21st.
A Tragic Incident at a Birthday Celebration

A is accused of shooting his son B in the chest with a homemade gun at 9:31 PM on the 20th, in an apartment on the 33rd floor of Songdo International City in Incheon.
According to the investigation, A fired two rounds of shotgun shells containing steel pellets from a homemade gun made in the shape of a steel pipe, consecutively aimed at B.
Notably, that day was A's birthday, and B had gathered with family to celebrate his father's birthday when the tragedy occurred.
The police plan to transport A to the Incheon Yeonsu Police Station and thoroughly investigate the circumstances surrounding the manufacture of the homemade guns and the motive for the crime. Particularly, an investigation into the source of the large quantity of homemade guns and explosives is expected to be a focus.
