Haruu, a former member of 'Nature,' has apologized in a handwritten letter regarding the controversy over her employment at a Japanese nightlife establishment.
On the 15th, Haruu opened up on her SNS, saying, "My contract with n.CH Entertainment has expired, and I thought it was right to convey this news directly to Leaf fans, so I am writing this letter."
First, she reflected, "I came to Korea alone at the age of 18, debuted with Nature, and had truly precious and wonderful experiences." She added, "Every day was happy, and I believe it was six years in which I could grow by myself."
Addressing the controversy surrounding her, she bowed her head and said, "I wanted to sincerely convey my apologies, though it's late, for causing concern and disappointment with my actions."
She continued, "Although I'm no longer involved in related activities, I think it was something that disappointed the Leaf fans. I'm really sorry. Now, I am working hard to prepare for a new challenge."
Haruu concluded, "Although my time as an idol has come to an end, I will never forget the love and support from the Leaf fans. I am truly grateful. Please continue to support me."
In April, allegations surfaced that Haruu was working at a Japanese nightlife establishment. The establishment posted a video on TikTok introducing a female staff member, and it was revealed that the woman in the video was Haruu, leading to the controversy.
Regarding this, Nature's agency stated, "Since Nature is not active at the moment, Haruu is currently back in Japan," and "We are in the process of confirming the facts."
Meanwhile, Nature decided to disband in April, after roughly six years since their debut in 2018.
