Three Residents Missing Due to Soil Erosion in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam
Three residents are missing due to soil erosion in Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, prompting a search operation by the fire department.
According to the county, as of 3 PM on the day of the incident, one woman in her 20s and a couple in their 70s are missing from the Burim Village in Sancheong-eup.
It is reported that the missing individuals are the elderly couple and their daughter.
The police and fire authorities believe that they were swept away by the soil that was eroded due to heavy rain and are currently conducting a search.

Additionally, one person died in a landslide in Naeri Village, Sancheong-eup that afternoon.
Fire Agency Issues National Fire Deployment Order
The Fire Agency issued a 'National Fire Deployment Order' starting at 1 PM on the same day to respond to the landslide situation.
The deployment includes personnel and equipment from the regions of Chungbuk, Chungnam, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk.

Earlier in the day, the Fire Agency had issued a Level 1 alert at 10:20 AM related to the heavy rain in Sancheong-gun, which was subsequently elevated to Level 2 at 11:20 AM.
The Fire Agency stated that the deployment order was issued to carry out a national-level response to the landslide caused by the heavy rainfall.
Sancheong-gun also issued an evacuation order to all residents via disaster safety text messages at 1:52 PM, advising them to "evacuate immediately to safety zones."
