
The popularity of HuntRix and Sia Boys is soaring. The soundtrack for the Netflix movie "K-Pop Demon Hunters" has taken over the UK charts.
According to the latest official chart data (from the 18th to the 26th), the OST "Golden" from "K-Pop Demon Hunters" (directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Applehans) ranked 9th on the 'Singles Chart Top 100', setting a new personal best. HuntRix's "Golden" jumped 11 spots from the previous week, starting at 93rd, then rising to 31st, 20th, and finally 9th. This marks four consecutive weeks on the charts.
Sia Boys' song "YOUR IDOL" secured the 26th position on the chart, maintaining an upward trend for the third week. It climbed 3 spots from the previous week's ranking of 26th, keeping it in the top tier.
HuntRix's "HOW IT'S DONE" also made it onto the charts, ranking 29th on the 'Singles Chart Top 100', having moved up 3 spots from last week's 32nd.
It’s not just the movie soundtrack focusing on K-pop that’s making waves. Korean artists are also performing well. BLACKPINK entered the official singles chart for the first time with their new song "JUMP", which debuted at 18th.
BLACKPINK's Rosé has been a steady presence on the chart for 39 weeks. Her collaboration with pop star Bruno Mars on the single "APT" remains popular, ranking 43rd this week.
Cats Eye also made their mark with two songs on the chart. The track "Gabriela" from their mini-album "BEAUTIFUL CHAOS" debuted at 83rd, while "Gnarly" landed at 98th.
