Kang Seo-ha, Passes Away Battling Cancer…Sister “My Angel Left Too Soon”

Actor Kang Seo-ha has passed away after battling cancer at the age of 31.

The representative from her agency 'Insight MCN' stated in a phone call with 'Dispatch' on the 14th, "Actor Kang Seo-ha has been undergoing chemotherapy and peacefully passed away this morning."

A person identifying as her younger sibling, A, expressed sorrow on social media, saying, "She couldn't eat for several months but insisted on paying with her own card, never letting me miss a meal. My angel, who left too soon."

A added, "Even while enduring with painkillers, she said she was grateful and happy to have made it this far. I hope there is only happiness without pain over there. Be my sister again next time. I love you."

The funeral is being held at Room 8 of the Seoul St. Mary's Hospital funeral hall. The departure ceremony is scheduled for 7:40 AM on the 16th. The burial site is in Ham-an, Gyeongnam.

Kang Seo-ha completed filming the movie 'Mangnae-in' (directed by Shin Jae-ho) until the end of last year. She starred as the lead. The film is set to be released by the end of this year.

Meanwhile, Kang Seo-ha graduated from the Korea National University of Arts, Theater Department. She debuted in 2012 with the music video for 'Going Far Away' from 'Brave Guys.'

She appeared in JTBC drama 'Seonam Girls' High School Investigation Team,' KBS-2TV 'Assembly,' MBC-TV 'Ock-Soo-Jung-Hwa,' KBS-2TV 'Wave, Wave,' SBS-TV 'Thoracic Surgery,' and 'No One Knows.'
