A vehicle crashes into the veranda of a house on the first floor… Two injured
In an apartment complex in Mokcheon-eup, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, a sedan driven by a man in his 50s, identified as Mr. A, crashed into the outer wall of the apartment and then into the veranda of a first-floor residence.
The incident occurred at around 6:42 PM on the 13th, resulting in injuries to the driver, Mr. A, and a woman in her 80s, identified as Ms. B, who was inside the veranda. Both were urgently transported to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, their lives are not in danger.

"Driven into it just after going over the speed bump"… It was not a case of drunk driving
According to police investigations, Mr. A was confirmed to be sober at the time of the accident. The police believe that Mr. A lost control of the vehicle immediately after going over a speed bump while entering the apartment complex, causing the car to crash through the outer wall of the house.
As a result of the collision, the glass windows and some parts of the outer wall in the first-floor veranda of the apartment were damaged, and the vehicle itself was also severely destroyed.
The police are analyzing black box and CCTV footage… Investigation of the exact circumstances of the accident
The police are securing and analyzing the vehicle’s black box and CCTV footage from within the apartment complex to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.

Additionally, they are considering the possibility of an operational error based on Mr. A's statements.
