YouTuber Tzuyang (real name Park Jung-won) opened up about her difficult past, revealing that she suffered assault and threats from her ex-boyfriend for four years.

In the early morning of the 11th, Tzuyang conducted a live broadcast on her YouTube channel under the title "I Will Tell You Everything." Tzuyang’s legal representative also joined her.

Previously, a YouTube channel claimed that "Tzuyang was blackmailed by a cyber gangster using her past as leverage to extort money." As the issue grew, Tzuyang promptly disclosed her stance.

Tzuyang began by saying, "I felt I had to explain the issue raised on a certain YouTube channel, so I started the broadcast in haste. Please understand that I'm not organized."

She recalled, "I had taken a leave of absence before I started broadcasting. At that time, I had a boyfriend who seemed nice initially. Not long after, he began displaying violent behavior, so I decided to break up."

She then shared the turning point of her misery: "That's when many hellish things started. He told me he had secretly recorded videos of me and threatened to distribute them if I broke up with him."

Regarding working at a bar in the past, she said, "He took me to his workplace and forcibly made me work, saying I only had to pour drinks. I worked there for a short period."

Her ex-boyfriend, identified as Mr. A, took all the money she earned. Tzuyang said, "There are transaction records. When I said I wanted to quit, he assaulted me twice a day."

It was during this time that she started her broadcasting career. "I broadcast almost every day while being abused. He took all the money I made from broadcasting. I was so broke I couldn't even order the chicken I needed for my shows," she said, almost in tears.

According to Tzuyang, Mr. A created a management company as her channel gained success, setting a contract with a 7:3 ratio in his favor, but he didn't even honor that.

"I couldn't get any revenue from advertisements. When the controversy over undeclared ads broke out, he made me quit broadcasting, and later, when the public opinion subsided, he ordered me to return," she continued.

With the help of her colleagues, she finally escaped from Mr. A. "Thanks to my employees who were like family, I became independent. I didn't want this matter to become known," she revealed.

She added, "The issue was resolved only recently. It's been five years since I started broadcasting, and for four of those years, I went through this every day. Not once did I feel at ease during those five years."

Her legal representatives, Attorneys Kim Tae-yeon and Kim Ki-baek, continued, "Given the extensive damage Tzuyang suffered, we initiated the first round of criminal complaints for sexual assault, habitual assault, and habitual threats."

They also revealed some evidence photos during the broadcast. Attorney Kim explained, "There are over 3,000 recorded pieces of evidence, and the photo evidence is extensive." However, Mr. A died by suicide during the legal proceedings.

Attorney Kim stated, "Unfortunately, the former head of the agency took his own life, leading to a 'no right to arraign' decision and concluding the criminal case."

He also disclosed, "The unpaid settlement amount owed to Tzuyang is at least 4 billion KRW. By the time the lawsuit progressed, so much of the money had been misappropriated by Mr. A that the remaining amount didn't cover the arrears."

Finally, they concluded, "We hope there are no further misunderstandings or speculations about the parties involved and that no secondary harm comes to the bereaved family."
