HYBE is officially launching their Latin boy group project.
On the 10th, HYBE Latin America announced that the reality series "SANTOS BRAVOS," which selects a male idol group from Mexico, will premiere in August.
Various nationalities will participate, including Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Peru, Spain, and the United States. Sixteen candidates performed in the auditions.
A customized camp will be established for the participants, focusing on music skills, emotional expression, and stage performance. Their growth journey will be documented until the final five members of the boy group are selected.
Teaser videos and profile images have been unveiled. Unique boys have come together to start their journey toward their dreams, sweating it out with the support of global mentors.
"SANTOS BRAVOS" is the first project to introduce HYBE's artist discovery and training system to Latin America, designed by Chairman Bang Si-hyuk. It aims to cultivate global artists.
Chairman Bang stated, "Our goal is not just to form a group but to help young Latin artists experience genuine transformation both artistically and personally."
A wide range of experts have joined the project. Kenny Ortega, the director of Disney's "High School Musical," is serving as the creative director, overseeing this global project.
Israeli composer Jonny Goldstein contributes as the main music producer. He is a hitmaker who has collaborated with pop star Shakira, BTS's J-Hope, ENHYPEN, and others.
Vocal coach Raab Stevenson is responsible for the vocal training of the participants. Jaime Escalón, a creator from Colombia, acts as the executive producer, leading the project as a whole.
Meanwhile, HYBE Latin America is also conducting another project. They have started a band selection audition program titled "PASE A LA FAMA" in collaboration with Spanish broadcaster Telemundo.
