The Netflix series ‘Storm’ continues to maintain its heat even into its third week of release. Netflix announced on the 10th that “‘Storm’ has kept its position as the number one ‘Top 10 Series in Korea Today’ for three consecutive weeks. It also ranked 4th in the global top 10 series (non-English) category.” Unreleased stills were also revealed.

The international response is also enthusiastic. According to the Netflix top 10 website, ‘Storm’ made it to the top 10 list in a total of 11 countries, including Nigeria, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Qatar. It has recorded 1.8 million views so far.

‘Storm’ is praised for its meticulous direction and script, as well as the acting performances of Seol Kyung-gu and Kim Hee-ae. It has also garnered significant buzz. It ranked first in the integrated content ranking of the OTT integrated search service Kinolights (for the second week).

The unreleased stills capture the tension-filled atmosphere of the drama as well as the warm and friendly shooting scenes. First, Park Dong-ho’s (Seol Kyung-gu) oath ceremony at the Blue House is set in contrast to Jung Soo-jin’s (Kim Hee-ae) memorial ceremony speech.

The actors’ immersion was also noteworthy. Seol Kyung-gu is pictured engrossed in monitoring, while Kim Hee-ae is seen waiting for filming with a serious expression. They are focused on expressing their characters’ beliefs and desires.

The shooting set was warm and friendly, unlike the intense competition between the characters in the drama. Seol Kyung-gu, Kim Hee-ae, and Kim Hong-pa were seen walking together with smiles. Kim Hee-ae and Kim Mi-sook held hands and smiled brightly, showcasing their ‘womance.’

‘Storm’ was released on the 28th of last month. It depicts the showdown between Prime Minister Park Dong-ho, who decides to assassinate the president to overturn the world, and Deputy Prime Minister of Economy Jung Soo-jin, who tries to stop him to seize power. It is a story about corrupt politicians.
