A man in his 40s wearing an electronic ankle monitor was caught after fleeing a scene where he committed sexual harassment at a bar.
According to Channel A on the 7th, the man, who is in his 40s, was apprehended by the police after he sexually harassed a woman at a bar and fled the scene on the 25th of last month in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul.

The man was wearing an electronic ankle monitor due to a prior sexual offense. He reportedly sexually harassed the bar's female owner while paying for drinks and then attempted to escape.
In a video released alongside the news, a patrol car approaches the man, who is dressed in black and swaying as he walks. The police officer converses with the man before moving on.
The police, responding to a report that "a customer wearing an electronic monitor is committing sexual harassment," conducted a stop-and-question session with the man but initially let him pass.
Initially, the police were unable to locate the suspect based on the victim's statement that "the man was wearing shorts." However, after obtaining a corrected statement that indicated "he was wearing long pants," they were finally able to apprehend the man.
Police Investigation and Suspect Arrest Process

The man reportedly fled after sexually harassing the female owner while paying for drinks at the bar.
The police arrested the man approximately 700 meters from the crime scene. It was confirmed that the man was wearing the electronic ankle monitor due to his history of sexual violence.
During the investigation, the man reportedly stated that he "wanted to hug" the victim. The police have detained him and referred the case to the prosecution on the 1st of this month.
