**Incheon Ara Waterway Drowning Incident Occurs**

On the morning of the 6th, a man in his 20s was found dead after falling into the waterway at the Incheon Ara Waterway in Dangha-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon.

According to the fire authorities, a report was received at around 5:22 AM stating that a man, referred to as A, had fallen into the water. After approximately 4 hours of underwater search, at around 9:20 AM, A's body was discovered and retrieved from the channel under the Sichun Bridge.

The reporter who made the report was identified as A's friend, who stated, "A fell into the water while intoxicated." This incident is believed to be a water safety accident that occurred while under the influence of alcohol.

**Investigation into the Cause of Death Underway**

The police conducted an on-site investigation and confirmed that there was no evidence of criminal involvement; however, they found no signs of foul play.

A police official stated, "We will request an autopsy from the National Institute of Scientific Investigation to determine the specific cause of death." They also mentioned, "Based on the autopsy results, we will clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident."
