‘Zombie Daughter,’ 100% Synchronization… Jo Jung-suk, Lee Jung-eun, Cho Yeo-jeong, Casting

Actors Jo Jung-suk, Lee Jung-eun, Jo Yeo-jeong, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Choi Yoo-ri have come together for a single project.

The Naver webtoon "My Daughter Who Became a Zombie" (hereinafter referred to as "Zombie Daughter") is being adapted into a film with confirmed casting of Jo Jung-suk, Lee Jung-eun, Jo Yeo-jeong, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Choi Yoo-ri.

"Zombie Daughter" (directed by Pil Gam-sung) tells the story of a doting father who begins secret training to protect his daughter who has turned into a zombie. He aims to tame the zombie within her.

Jo Jung-suk plays the father, Jung-hwan. Jung-hwan struggles to protect his daughter, who has become a zombie, from the world. The role promises to deliver both laughter and deep paternal love.

Lee Jung-eun transforms into the grandmother, Bam-soon. Bam-soon is a lively and affectionate grandmother living in a fishing village. She joins Jo Jung-suk in protecting her zombie granddaughter.

Jo Yeo-jeong plays Jung-hwan's first love, Yeon-hwa. Yeon-hwa becomes a teacher in the fishing village. Yoon Kyung-ho takes on the role of Jung-hwan's long-time friend, Dong-bae.

Lastly, child actor Choi Yoo-ri turns into the zombie, Soo-ah. Soo-ah is expected to showcase a unique and special father-daughter chemistry with Jo Jung-suk.

Director Pil Gam-sung held the megaphone. Following his debut work "Hostage," he directed his first series "Unlucky Day," which received praise for his directional style that delivered genre-specific thrills.

Meanwhile, "Zombie Daughter" will commence full-scale filming after completing pre-production.
