Robbery of an Entire Unmanned Ice Cream Kiosk, 6.8 Million Won in Damages
An outrageous incident occurred when an unmanned ice cream kiosk was robbed in its entirety.
On the 3rd, JTBC's 'Incident Commander' shared the story of Mr. A, who operates an unmanned ice cream kiosk in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province.
According to the CCTV footage released by Mr. A, a man entered the store alone around 2 AM, checked the position of the CCTV, and then seemed to tap on it with his hand.

After taking out a tool and attempting to manipulate the kiosk, he appeared to give up and left the store. However, he returned shortly after with a hammer.
The man continuously tried to disassemble the kiosk but failed. Ultimately, he cut the wires and carried the entire kiosk outside.
As a result of the short circuit during this process, the ice cream stored in the store's freezer melted, leading to an additional loss of 2 million won.

The suspect made off with 800,000 won in cash from the completely dismantled kiosk, then discarded the machine in nearby bushes and fled.
Mr. A reported, "At around 7 AM, police were dispatched after residents reported the incident. I suffered a total loss of 6.8 million won, including the 3.8 million won kiosk, 800,000 won in cash, 2 million won worth of melted ice cream, and 200,000 won for CCTV repairs."
Total damages amount to 6.8 million won.
Currently, police are tracking the whereabouts of the fleeing suspect based on the CCTV footage.
