Captured 'Love Bugs' released in Busan by a netizen
As many citizens express their discomfort over the 'Love Bugs' that have taken over the metropolitan area, a post by a netizen stating that they released 20 captured Love Bugs in Busan is receiving backlash from the public.
On the 30th of last month, a post titled "I spread Love Bugs today" appeared on the online community 'DC Inside.'
The author, Mr. A, opened up by saying, "The provinces are not aware of the Love Bug situation; even after seeing the metropolitan area's Love Bug crisis, they react with 'Why do they dislike these beneficial insects?'"
He continued, "Yesterday afternoon, I collected about 20 live Love Bugs and released them in a forest in Busan during a business trip."

With the ongoing hot weather, the male and female Love Bugs, commonly known as red-eyed flies, have been swarming urban areas.
Mr. A stated that he felt anger towards citizens from other regions who regard the public's hatred and dissatisfaction towards the Love Bugs as excessive, leading him to take such action.
He concluded, "You will be done with them in three days," adding, "I hope you experience the pain caused by these Love Bugs."
In response to this, netizens commented, "I can't believe such a person works in a company," "Releasing only 20 won't cause a spread, but the mindset behind this is terrible," "Forcing what one dislikes onto others is a form of violence," and "This line of thinking is chilling."
