The suspended prison sentence has been finalized for actor Yoo Ah-in (38, real name Eom Hong-sik), who was indicted on charges of habitual drug use.
On the 3rd, the Supreme Court's 1st Division (Chief Justice Ma Yong-joo) confirmed the original ruling that sentenced Yoo Ah-in to one year in prison, two years of suspended sentence, and a fine of 2 million won for violating the Narcotics Control Act (psychotropic substances) and other charges.

Yoo Ah-in was indicted for using propofol 181 times between 2020 and 2022 and illegally obtaining sleeping pills under another person's name 44 times from 2021 to 2022.
Additionally, in January 2023, while smoking cannabis at his accommodation in Los Angeles, USA, he demanded that a YouTuber in his group smoke cannabis with him to make them an accomplice after being exposed for smoking.
