“From Kim Tae-kyun to Yoon Suk-min”… ‘Strongest Baseball’ Reveals Player Roster

Korean professional baseball (KBO) legendary players have joined the new season of 'Choi Gang Baseball.'

On the 2nd, JTBC's 'Choi Gang Baseball 2025' team announced the roster. Head coach Lee Jong-bum, along with Kim Tae-kyun, Yoon Suk-min (Kia), Lee Dae-hyung, and Na Ji-wan, will play key roles in the team.

Original member Shim Soo-chang will take on the role of playing coach. Additionally, Yoon Gi-hyeon, Yoon Hee-sang, Kwon Hyuk, Lee Hyun-seung, Oh Ju-won, Oh Hyun-taek, and Moon Seong-hyun are included in the 'Choi Gang Baseball' pitching staff.

The batting lineup is also noteworthy. Na Joo-hwan, Yoon Suk-min (SK), Lee Hak-joo, and Kang Min-guk have been confirmed for the infield. Choi Jin-haeng and Cho Yong-ho are expected to showcase their defensive skills in the outfield.

Heo Do-hwan will guard the catcher position. He announced his retirement from LG Twins last year. Additional players including backup catchers will be revealed through broadcasting.

The production team stated, "We were deeply impressed by the fact that retired players from the KBO League still hold a longing for baseball and a strong desire to compete."

They aim to depict the baseball challenges of retired professional players filled with earnest passion. "Please look forward to seeing them stand on the field and take on the challenge once again," they urged.

Meanwhile, 'Choi Gang Baseball 2025' is set to premiere in September.
