Actor Shin Gu's Loss of His Wife
Veteran actor Shin Gu has lost his wife.
Shin Gu's wife, the late Ha Jung-sook, passed away on the 2nd at the age of 87.
The funeral hall has been set up in room 30 at Asan Medical Center in Seoul. The burial will take place at Seoul Memorial Park and Gwangneung Memorial Park at 5:20 AM on the 4th.
Mourning began today (the 2nd) at 1 PM.

Shin Gu debuted in 1962 with the play "The Cow" and married the late Ha Jung-sook in 1974, with whom he has a son.
In the past, Shin Gu revealed on a program, "I dated my wife for 6 years before we got married. We met through an introduction, and I was so taken by her that I followed her around. Our son was born just two months after the wedding, so I was in a hurry. That’s why we rushed the wedding. I don’t think of it as a big flaw. I’m thankful to my wife who stood by me during those not-so-abundant times."
Meanwhile, Shin Gu, who was selected as a special talent for Seoul Central Broadcasting in 1969, has appeared in various works for over 60 years, starting with the KBS drama "Heo Saeng-jeon" in 1972.
Shin Gu showcased his presence recently by playing the role of 'Young-chun,' a cult leader dreaming of immortality, in the movie "Hi Five," which was released in May. Alongside actor Park Geun-hyung, he also performed in the play "Waiting for Godot" until recently.
