The sad news of actress Lee Seo-yi's passing has been revealed belatedly.
On the 1st, Lee Seo-yi's manager, Mr. A, posted on Lee Seo-yi’s official Instagram account, "A radiant, beautiful, and kind sister has become a star in heaven on June 20, 2025."
Mr. A expressed, "Everyone will be shocked and heartbroken by the news of her passing, but please pray that she goes to a good place," adding, "I am posting this on behalf of her mother and father."
Friends and fans of the deceased could not hide their grief over the sudden news. Actor Choi Deok-mun commented, "What? Why? How could this happen?" Model Lee Chi-seung wrote, "Can you now rest easy? I already miss you, Seo-yi."
Lee Seo-yi was born in 1982 and passed away at the age of 43. She made her debut in 2013 with the drama "Guam Heo-jun." She appeared in dramas such as “Cheongdam-dong Scandal” and films including "Madame Bbang-deok," "The King's Affection," "The King," and "Killing Romance."
During her life, she also worked as a florist, operating a flower shop in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. The shop had temporarily closed in April and was scheduled to move to another location in September.
