A tragic accident occurred in Boseong, Jeollanam-do, where a passenger car driven by a woman in her 50s collided with a farm tractor, resulting in the deaths of an elderly couple.
According to the Boseong Police Station on the 2nd, around 4:57 AM, Ms. A (57, female) was driving a Morning sedan when she crashed into the farm tractor ahead of her on a road in Mireuksan-myeon, Boseong-gun.

As a result of the accident, an 88-year-old man and an 87-year-old woman who were riding on the farm tractor were transported to the hospital in cardiac arrest but ultimately did not survive.
The police have initiated an investigation against the driver, Ms. A, for causing death by violating the Special Act on Traffic Accident Processing.
The investigation revealed that Ms. A was neither under the influence of alcohol nor unlicensed at the time of the accident.
"Visibility was poor," the driver stated… Police are investigating the precise circumstances of the accident.
Regarding the collision that occurred in the early morning hours, Ms. A reportedly told the police during the investigation that "she could not see well ahead."
