Oh Yo-han, a former member of the 707th Special Mission Battalion, set a new Guinness World Record for pull-ups in 24 hours.
A YouTuber who unfortunately failed to secure the "24-hour pull-up Guinness" record last year has successfully set a new record after a re-challenge.
On the 23rd of last month, a video titled "Becoming Number One in One Field…" was uploaded on the YouTube channel "Oh My Goodness Oh Yo-han."
Through the video, YouTuber Oh Yo-han shared that he attempted the Guinness record again last September.

In March of the same year, he succeeded in completing 8,707 pull-ups in 24 hours, putting him in contention for the Guinness record. However, it was later revealed that a challenger from Japan had recorded 8,940 pull-ups, which nullified his record registration.
Oh Yo-han stated, "The difficulty of my first attempt was partly due to the short preparation period, but also because I had no knowledge of this challenge at all." He added, "I had no idea about diet management, workout methods, or how to regulate my condition."
He continued, "At the time, I was working right after my discharge, so I would leave early in the morning and return late at night. Also, my wife was pregnant with our second child, so I was recklessly exercising while balancing childcare."
Regarding his second challenge, he expressed, "This time, I approached it with the determination to 'definitely break the Guinness record.' I didn't even think about the possibility of failure."

Oh Yo-han's final record was 11,707 pull-ups. This is a significant number for him as a former captain of the 707th Special Mission Battalion.
He shared in the Guinness Book, "I could have done more, but I stopped at 11,707 in honor of the 707th Special Mission Battalion."
His record surpassed the previous high of 10,001 set by a man in the United States in February.
Upon hearing the news, most netizens reacted with comments like "The passion for re-challenging is truly amazing," "You are the pride of the 707," and "Is there anyone who can break this record?"
Meanwhile, Oh Yo-han gained recognition by appearing on the 2023 military survival program "Steel Troops 3." Recently, he has been uploading various workout content, including running, to his YouTube channel.
