Actor Ha Jung-woo returns to the small screen after a long time.

The new tvN drama 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea' (written by Oh Han-ki, directed by Lim Pil-sung, hereafter 'Building Owner'), scheduled for broadcast in the first half of the year, has confirmed its casting. Ha Jung-woo, Im Soo-jung, Kim Jun-han, Jung Soo-jung, and Shim Eun-kyung will appear in the drama.

'Building Owner' depicts the story of a debt-ridden landlord who, to protect his family, which is more precious than his life, becomes involved in crime. The 'fake kidnapping' that starts to protect the building spirals into an uncontrollable situation.

Ha Jung-woo plays the main character, Ki Soo-jong. Soo-jong becomes a landlord through 'extreme borrowing' but finds himself buried under enormous debt. Ha Jung-woo is expected to portray the increasingly desperate situation as he tries to protect the building with compelling acting.

Im Soo-jung plays his wife, Kim Sun. She will embody a complex character who gets embroiled in the incidents, enhancing the drama's immersion. She expresses a strong and resilient side, exuding her presence.

Kim Jun-han portrays Soo-jung's best friend, Min Hwal-sung. Hwal-sung fails in every business he touches. However, he succeeds in marriage and settles down as a son-in-law. Driven by ambition and the desire to be recognized, he ends up causing unexpected trouble.

Jung Soo-jung takes on the role of Jeon I-kyung. I-kyung is Hwal-sung's wife and the daughter of a real estate mogul. She envies the couple Ki Soo-jong and Kim Sun and relies on them, only to experience unforeseen events. She grows like a flower in a greenhouse, undergoing tumultuous changes.

Shim Eun-kyung transforms into Yona. Yona is a practitioner at Real Capital who pressures Ki Soo-jong. She was adopted overseas as a child and possesses a mysterious charm. This will mark Shim Eun-kyung's return to Korean drama after six years in 'Building Owner.'

'Building Owner' will start filming next month, directed by Lim Pil-sung, who showcased a unique directing style in the film 'Persona.' This is the first drama written by Oh Han-ki, known for his unique works such as 'Baguette Boy Soldier' and 'Humanity.'

Meanwhile, 'Building Owner' is planned to be broadcast in the first half of next year.
