Voice actress and broadcaster Seo Yu-ri (40) candidly shared about the large debt incurred during her divorce and the current repayment status.
On the 25th, Seo Yu-ri appeared in the video "Pajama Party" on the YouTube channel 'This is the Final' and reflected on her first year as a single.
She mentioned, "I lived a pure life like Sister Teresa during my five years of marriage," confessing that her ideal type has changed after the divorce.
She added, "A kind and sexy man is the best as a partner. However, after becoming a divorcee, economic sense has become important."
In particular, during the broadcast, Seo Yu-ri drew viewers' attention by mentioning specific amounts regarding the debt incurred during her divorce.
She revealed that out of nearly 2 billion won in debt, she has repaid 1.3 billion won so far.
Seo Yu-ri explained, "I organized my assets and paid it off. Although the debt was created by my ex-husband, I am taking responsibility for lending my name without going bankrupt."
Financial Conflicts During Divorce and New Relationship
Seo Yu-ri married PD Choi Byeong-gil in 2019 but faced a breakup in March of last year after five years.
During the divorce process, the two experienced conflicts over loan issues, and Seo Yu-ri had previously revealed that she repaid over 1.14 billion won in loans in September of last year.
She continued to certify the completion of additional repayments, leaving a message that "I will at least not cause harm to others," indirectly criticizing her ex-husband.
Seo Yu-ri has continuously exposed claims that PD Choi demanded loans in her name during the divorce process.
Meanwhile, during the broadcast, Seo Yu-ri also reported that she has met a new partner since becoming a divorcee. She mentioned that she is currently "seeing" a legal professional born in 1992 through a 'marriage information company.'
