According to the business community on the 25th, Kevin Huang is currently an officer with the U.S. Central Special Operations Command (CSOJTF-C) and is serving in the Middle East.
In a post he shared on LinkedIn the day before, he wrote, "I thought the combined military headquarters in the Middle East would be quieter than those in Ukraine or the Indo-Pacific command," adding, "But I didn't expect the downfall of the Syrian Assad regime, the ousting of Houthi rebels, and operations in Iran to happen in just six months."
He has reportedly been deployed for operations in Syria last December, and for the recent operation against Houthi rebels in Yemen, as well as the B-2 stealth bomber and Tomahawk missile operation against Iranian nuclear facilities on the 22nd (local time). The CSOJTF-C, to which he belongs, is a key unit commanding special operations throughout the Middle East, performing counter-terrorism responses and strategic operations in cooperation with allied nations such as Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Huang married Choi Min-jung, the daughter of Chairman Chey Tae-won, in October last year at the Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul. However, the sweet time of their honeymoon was too short. He volunteered for deployment immediately after marriage, heading to the battlefield.
Recently, he also announced that he had been promoted from captain to major. He shared photos commemorating his promotion with his colleagues on social media and also drew attention by revealing scenes of himself waiting in a bunker to avoid missile attacks.
