
Baby Monster is set to make a comeback next month, reinterpreting old-school hip-hop from the 1980s.
On the 23rd, YG Entertainment posted the poster for Baby Monster's single 'HOT SAUCE' titled 'I’m like HOT SAUCE' on their official blog. The colorful billboard logo caught the eye, promising a refreshing summer with bright and vivid colors. The members showcased a hip visual with playful expressions and carefree gestures.
The announcement hinted at a hot summer song. Yang Hyun-seok, the chief producer, described 'HOT SAUCE' as "a gift meant to bring joy this summer," stating it is "an addictive hip-hop track from the mid to late 1980s."
The group will continue to perform as a six-member unit, excluding member Rami. The agency explained, "Rami needs sufficient time for recovery," emphasizing that "the artist's health is our top priority. We appreciate your understanding."
Meanwhile, Baby Monster will release the single 'HOT SAUCE' on the 1st of next month at 6 PM, followed by the release of a second single and a mini-album.
