BLACKPINK is set to release new music for the first time in 2 years and 8 months. They will debut the new song on stage during their concert in Korea.
YG Entertainment announced on the 23rd that "BLACKPINK will unveil their new song for the first time at the world tour in Goyang." This will be the first complete release since the members pursued solo activities.
BLACKPINK will kick off their world tour 'DEADLINE IN GOYANG' at the Goyang Sports Complex Stadium on the 5th and 6th of next month.
YG stated, "There was a lot of discussion regarding the method of releasing the new song," adding, "We decided to showcase it first in Goyang, which is the starting point for reconnecting with our fans during the tour."
Since the 6th, BLACKPINK has been filming the new music video in Korea, collaborating with well-known overseas directors. Details regarding the schedule and concept will be announced soon.
Beginning with the Goyang concert, BLACKPINK will meet fans in a total of 16 cities and perform across the globe with a total of 31 concerts.
They will continue the excitement in locations such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
