Actor Kim Bum is set to make his musical debut, promising a fresh acting transformation.

King Kong by Starship released behind-the-scenes stills from the profile shoot for the musical 'A Gentleman's Guide' on the 4th. Kim Bum has taken on the role of the protagonist, Monty Navarro.

He showed a high level of synchronization with the character. Kim Bum exuded the Earl's ease with a smile and conveyed the ambition for the successor's seat with his eyes.

The agency stated, "Despite it being his first musical profile shoot, Kim Bum approached it professionally. He completed A-cuts in a short time and received applause."

Kim Bum is entering the musical scene through 'A Gentleman's Guide'. He will portray a character who eliminates higher-ranked heirs to ascend to the Earl's position.

He will prove his limitless spectrum. Following his roles in dramas like 'Tale of the Nine Tailed', 'Law School', and 'Ghost Doctor', he is set to showcase his unique character adaptability again.

Meanwhile, 'A Gentleman's Guide' is a comedy musical. It tells the story of a young man who discovers he is the eighth heir to a noble family. It opens on the 6th.
