Meanwhile, on the 19th, the government approved a supplementary budget plan in the Cabinet meeting and decided to distribute consumption coupons ranging from 150,000 to 500,000 won per person to all citizens.

According to the government's forecast, it is expected that approximately 42.96 million ordinary citizens will receive 250,000 won.

The distribution method will allow individuals to choose from various options, including local love gift certificates, prepaid cards, and credit/debit cards, and it is planned to be distributed in two installments.

The specific distribution schedule and usage guidelines are expected to be determined soon through a task force (TF) from the relevant ministries.
