MBC-TV's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Snow White to Death – Black Out' (hereafter 'Snow White') revealed its teaser poster on the 4th.
The poster alone was enough to grab attention. A gloomy and eerie atmosphere. Byun Yo-han (playing Go Jeong-woo) is holding a small flashlight, peering into a giant drain.
Inside the drain, there was damp moisture. The end was darkness. It's uncertain what would appear at the end. There's anticipation about whether the flashlight held by Byun Yo-han will uncover the truth.
In the middle of the poster, a faint phrase was hidden. It read: 'The truth of that night, better left unknown.' This made viewers curious about what might be in the protagonist's lost memories.
'Snow White' is a drama adaptation of the globally beloved mystery novel 'Snow White Must Die' by author Nele Neuhaus.
It's a reverse-trace crime thriller. The drama depicts the story of a young man who became an ex-convict for murder after being pointed out as the culprit of a mysterious homicide case. It follows his journey to uncover the truth ten years later.
Director Byun Young-joo’s drama debut work. Director Byun had previously directed movies like 'Helpless' and 'The Murmuring.' Byun Yo-han plays Go Jeong-woo, who is accused of killing his friend due to his lost memories.
The 'Snow White' team stated, "The teaser poster foreshadows Byun Yo-han's lonely struggle to uncover the truth despite the dark future ahead," adding, "Please look forward to Byun Yo-han's efforts."
'Snow White' premieres on August 16th at 9:50 PM.
